The Chinese and Russians are increasing their influence in Central America and South America. These great powers are starting to threaten the US homeland by military force and economic warfare. Their is media reports that speculate the United States might invade Venezuela because of the fail coup attempt to remove Maduro from power. However, what if the United States does not take military action and allow China and Russia to spend its influence in Central America and South America? The Russian military base in Venezuela will be established allowing Russia to have a foothold in South America. As time continues the Russian base can house 10 tens of thousands of troops, missiles, nuclear weapons, cyber teams, navy ships, and other military assets to threaten the US homeland. It is a very concerning future If Russia is allowed to have a military base in Venezuela. On the other hand, the United States along with NATO allies are doing the strategy against Russia. NATO was trying to give Ukraine NATO membership as well as Georgia in 2008. As a result, Russia invaded both nations to prevent a NATO country being so close to Russia’s homeland. The Russians are just returning the favor by being in Venezuela. The Russians are more of a military threat towards America, but what about China. China is a military threat in Central America and South America since it has the second biggest military spender in the world. However, its economic warfare is more of a threat towards the United States. China is investing billions in Central and South America. For example, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Panama all have some Chinese investment. The use of Chinese financial skills has helped to make these nations leave their diplomatic ties towards Taiwan. China is also is in South America in Venezuela conducting business and recently sent 120 troops to defend their investment. As the Chinese grow their economic influence in the Western Hemisphere, China can use its economic power to boycott Central and South American countries doing business with the United States in the future. Without fighting a war with the United States, its goal is to subdue the United States economically without fighting. The Sun Tzu way of destroying your opponent without fighting, but the counter to that strategy is to start fighting. In the end, If the United States does not deploy a smart strategy to remove these great powers from the Western Hemisphere, then expect to increase Russia military threat and Chinese economic warfare. The clock is tinkering and time is running out. Disclaimer:
